I hate to sound racist, but when I first heard about this crime, my immediate thought was, “An Hispanic or Brazilian from Worcester, and they’ll never catch him.”
I’m glad I was only half right.
If you are familiar with Princeton, it’s wooded and rural, and about half an hour from Worcester which is mostly okay, but some of it is a third world hell hole.
I used to hike in the Princeton area, and up & down & all around Wachusett Mountain. This poor women was just out for a quick run right near her parents house.
I’m one town over. A lot of people are breathing easier.

It would be good to have an armed knight service to escort women to their cars or home. Businesses in the community could offer the sir knights coupons for free appetizers, discounted oil changes or 25% off alterations on a new business suit - or something like that as payment for the service.
Just trying to think out of the box...
