how does one get milk in Islip ?
one gets in a car and drives
hate to be the one to break the bad news to you, but any place which requires you to drive someplace to buy milk is definitely the ‘burbs.
When I need to buy milk, I take the elevator and walk across the street. Ditto for wine. Coffee & breakfast is on same block.
That’s the city
If you can’t get in your car to get milk because you live in the smell canyons of the city and get get parking within driving distance means you live in the man made sewers of the city. I looked up suburbs in my funk and wagnells. Not one mention of milk.....NOT ONE!
