Nitrogen Asphyxiation
In a well ventilated room:
Strap the condemned down
Attach a medical breathing mask and brain wave monitor
supply 100% Nitrogen at 1.1 atmospheres
Wait till brain waves are flat for 5 min
BLindfold. Bang.
Hanging works for me. In the town square, by the county sheriff.
Sub the procedure out to the local dog pound — they’re already set up for it.
Sounds cheap and effective. Then wait for the medical gas companies to be vilified and quit selling it. Why is it so much work to execute these heinous people?
Fast, peaceful, uses a readily-available basic element, and certain. Also no mess like electrocution, firing squad or hanging. No need to worry about trapped cyanide gas or having to vent it out as is the case with the gas chamber. Sounds like an ideal method. I’m still very much on the fence about the issue but until states choose to abolish the death penalty on their own, it would be a very humane means of carrying it out.
Nitrogen narcosis is painless. Death is as violent as going to sleep and never waking up.
