Why waste the time of Russians or anybody else if they are too late to get in on the goodies?
In WWII, the Nazis forced JWs to wear a purple triangle (just as Jews had to wear yellow stars of David). Many JWs were killed or sent to work camps because they refused to heil Hitler. I’m not a JW (and never have been), but they showed remarkable strength of belief and character in not bowing before Hitler.
