Re: Bears trade up to #2 and get him (North Carolina quarterback Mitchell Trubisky), and pay a hefty price (The Bears No. 67 overall pick, the No. 111 pick and a 2018 third-round pick to the Soapy 9ers in exchange for moving up just one spot)

Must say, Imp, while I am glad Da Bears are past the Jay Cutler era, Trubisky does not impress me as a #2 caliber QB. Yet Dak did not either last year and he was a lowly 4th Round pick.

You pays your nickle and sees what happens, eh--

As to my Boys pick of Taco Charlton, DE of Michigan, he was in the top ten of Edge Rushers but not in the top five by most experts.

The Stoolers got the Edge Rusher that I wanted my Boys to pick, J.J. Watt's brother T.J.

As to my Boys' 2nd round pick, I'm hoping for Marlon Humphrey, CB, of Alabama, Adoree' Jackson, CB, of USC, Kevin King, CB, of Washington or Chidobe Awuzie, CB, of Colorado are still around when the 60th pick comes about.

Again, time will tell.

If they had drafted him at #3, I’d have been all for taking the chance. But this trade....I don’t know.

Who’s to say San Fran wasn’t feigning interest in him?

RE: Again, time will tell.

That is why I don’t get all that excited about the who of the draft, but am more concerned if the team is addressing a need. Seems to be only a little correlation between when someone is drafted and how they perform in the NFL.

Only time tells if it pans out.

Lets drink beer.
