A couple of weeks ago a bear broke into my friend’s house and ate the last of their winter supply of bird seed. DEC wouldn’t do anything. Just half a mile from me. Keeps coming back looking for more. Tonight is smorgasbord night, i.e. garbage night. They will be back.
Nasty. It will be a habit now. Doesn’t take long for “training” animals with free give-a-ways to become “taking” and “demanding” ... Witness welfare.
