President Donald J. Trump fired now-former FBI Director James Comey to send a message to Senator John McCain, sources close to the White House confirm.
Earlier this year, McCain went after Trump with widely discredited opposition research that he immediately shared with Comey, his longtime friend.
Comey worked with McCain to go after businessman Jack Abramoff after Abramoff stopped McCain from winning the Republican Primary in 2000.
McCain has since been working with FBI Director Comey to help undermine President Trump since Trump was elected.
The FBI firing move, which did not leak, was carried out by White House counsel Don McGahn and Attorney General Jeff Sessions. President Trump deliberately kept Reince Priebus and Sean Spicer in the dark to keep them from leaking.

I’m a Trump supporter, but wasn’t having “control of the FBI”, one of the bad things in the Obama administration? It’s supposed to be independent. That’s what we need -— an FBI that can’t be swayed.
I wouldn’t want a president to have that kind of power, and neither did the Founders; that’s why there is separation of powers. The voters get to say yea or any.
It’s not as if it wasn’t his idea to fire him.
That’s the plan. Convince him to resign from the Senate for some important-sounding czar position. Wait until McCain’s replacement has been sworn in then fire him. He can’t rejoin the senate for five years and he’s out of power within weeks of being appointed to his position.

I should have said "taken control from Obama/swamp people". By "taking control" I mean putting people in that Trump chooses... people who are right for the job, not partisan or corrupt.

But i would settle for a death ray from Trump’s eyes that would vaporize McCain on the spot.
And the entire AZ Repube party needs to be voted out of office and replaced with Arizona conservatives.

That was the document that was some kids trying to punk one of their dad's in particular, some millennial fiction/humor that I don't get, but let that go. I am not sure it is funny or pathetic that McCain bought it hook line and sinker as the real deal. That in its own way makes you wonder if the elevator is going to the top floor with many in the House and Senate, you can name the names, via them tripping on words at the dias, confusion, etc etc.
The point is it was all fiction and had become a meme of it's own, freakin insanity actually....
