My mom was born in Haughville in 1925; it was a mostly Macedonian immigrant neighborhood. I saw it change when they tore down the old Malleable Steel foundry and replaced it with government housing projects around 1970. It’s been a hell-hole since then.

If they are under 18 years of age, you may have a long wait. The local media usually honors the confidentiality of juveniles. Although if it is in fact robbery while armed with a deadly weapon, and they are over 16 years of age, the juvenile court does not have jurisdiction and they are direct filed as adult offenses. Usually the news media will still honor the confidentiality of the offenders in that case, but will sometimes “celebrity of crime” trumps the media interest in privacy of juveniles. So we’ll see if that happens.
