He said the 2.7m (8.8ft) shark landed in the boat, which measured about 5m, and grazed him with its pectoral fin. "It was a 5m boat so you can imagine there was no more room for people when the shark was in there."
..."I think next time I might find a crocodile to wrestle, just to stay in the limelight," he said.

He’ll be telling that FISH STORY for a long, long time. Probably will stuff the shark and hang it in the living room.
...a five foot barracuda. There was quite a bit of jumping around out there. LOL But it was good eating.
My career Navy father told of Sailors catching barracudas and as they reeled them in they would bite other fish while hanging from the hook.
They caught enough to feed the crew.
Where’s The Fonz when you need him??
Wheres The Fonz ?
The guy in the boat was seventy something, could have been him?
A tale over a few beers, maybe.
“Taxidermy man gonna have a heart attack when he sees what I brung em.”

I thought you couldn’t eat barracuda, that their flesh was poisonous? Not sure where I heard that.
Barracuda flesh isn’t naturally toxic - but it can pass along toxins absorbed by eating reef fish which graze on stuff that *is* poisonous.
Sharks going airborne? I'm going with the classic "Sharknado" rather than Jaws.
Surprised an Aussie would find this sort of thing worth bothering...
Like some of us, the fisherman is getting up in the years...
But hell remember with advantages
Memorial Day is also a good time to recall the Saint Crispin’s Day speech:
http://shakespeare.mit.edu/henryv/henryv.4.3.html
This day is called the feast of Crispian:
He that outlives this day, and comes safe home,
Will stand a tip-toe when the day is named,
And rouse him at the name of Crispian.
He that shall live this day, and see old age,
Will yearly on the vigil feast his neighbours,
And say ‘To-morrow is Saint Crispian:’
Then will he strip his sleeve and show his scars.
And say ‘These wounds I had on Crispin’s day.’
Old men forget: yet all shall be forgot,
But he’ll remember with advantages
“But he’ll remember with advantages”
Works for fishermen too.
Nice chainsaw!
Sharknado is a cinematic classic. What other movie would feature chainsaws as the weapon of choice to defend against sharks dropping from the sky?
Classic indeed. Get ready... Sharknado 5 comes out on August 6. :-)
