Dirty lyrics aren’t anything new. Aerosmith’s “Big 10 Inch” wasn’t about a small-screen TV. And “Wango Tango” isn’t Ted Nugent’s tribute to Spanish dance.

"You can't catch me 'cause the rabbit done died"

Rabbit tests-- that really dates Aerosmith

And let’s not forget The Who with their hit single “Squeezebox.”

“It goes in and out and in and out.....”

Yeah....dirty songs have been around since.....was it Al Jolson who sang “Making Whoopee” in the 20s?

It’s not new. Maybe not as graphic, at least the d-bicycle and wrist thing parts. But for sure the Aerosmith and Nugent fan base wasn’t mainly comprised of pre-teen and teen girls.

Is that supposed to somehow be a defense or rationalization.

That lousy bands you like are also scum bags makes it all good?

This is different. It’s promoting promiscuity to very young girls.

A lot of old people don’t get how this is worse than the rock music from the 70’s and 80’s. The difference is this is not hard rock being listened to by boys where a male singer brags about his prowess, it’s bubble gum pop listened to exclusively by pre-pubescent and adolescent girls directly telling them to be sluts. There was no pop music quite like this before the late 90’s.

A lot older people probably don’t understand that younger men in the UK don’t care very much that these girls were killed because of the degenerate nature of the music. Girls who listen to this kind of music are the ones who will have multiple baby daddies and be on welfare in a few years. It’s seen as no big loss.

That is a big part of the reason for the muted backlash. If a traditional pub in a small town or an amateur soccer game was attacked, there would be more anger from young men. If a Manchester United game were blown up, most young men of the sort who like to fight would just say “who cares about that corporate globalized crap?”

Same with the London bridge attack. Only wealthy globalized elites can afford to drink in that area. Non-wealthy young men in the UK don’t identify with those people or care if they get killed by Muslims since they are the people who want the Muslims here to begin with. Look at how many of the victims were not even British.

I understand that this information will be hard for older people to assimilate.
