Well since there are so many liberal weenies in Hollyweird it’s hard to avoid all of them unless we simply don’t watch movies.
TV I have just about completely excluded from my life for a very long time, but I do love movies.... but I don’t go to a movie theater more than 3-4 times per year now, it’s mainly classics for me.
The most rabid Hollyweird stars I pretty much boycott, though. I won’t see anything with some of the most obnoxious left-wing stars.
Your approach mirrors mine. I stopped watching television back in the Nineties, but I watch a lot of movies...going back in time. My all time favorite is “The Best Years of Our Lives” which won best picture in 1946...
I never go to the movies anymore. Last one was “American Sniper” and that was okay, but the one before that was “Skyfall”, and I had to keep telling a bunch of teenagers with their cell phones on to quiet down. They didn’t, and I decided it simply wasn’t worth it anymore.
The last movie I watched with someone like that was “Monuments Men” which I rented, and it made me sick to see George Clooney, and...for such a fantastic, true story, they turned it into a bloody stupid liberal cartoon movie.
I still haven’t gotten over it. I saw “Gravity” after that for the special effects, but the dialogue was dumb and stupid, and I felt dirty knowing some portion of my money was going to that turd.
