Trump does not have tapes either I think. He said Comey better hope their are no tapes. He did not say there were tapes I believe.

Trump was making a joke (much like his Russian joke). As in, everyone spies on Trump. You better hope they weren’t spying this time. Once everyone ran with it he decided to have some fun with it. That’s my take on it.
