Whenever I see the word “tutoring,” I am reminded of the Far Side comic of the dog bragging to his friends that he’s going to get “tutored.” LOL!
I think its because we have the Internet so we are aware of it more.
Forty years ago in my high school it was happening. I can think of 3 very young attractive teachers who were sleeping with at least one student per teacher. Two were married, those marriages ended pronto, the one single one ended up pregnant. All left the school but stayed somewhere in the county system. In these 3 cases they were not much older then the students and in all 3 cases the male student was on the 6 year high school plan. So its not surprising looking back.

She is moderately pretty. From what I've seen of other instances, she probably wasn't going after the boys on the debate team, but rather the varsity athletes, perhaps fulfilling a fantasy from when she was in high school or college, and the football players had better options than her.

Maybe, but the probability is that this will have the same effect on their ability to have lasting relationships as it had on Newt Gengrich. Especially on any of them that marries the skank.
The woman is very attractive...must have some kind of unresolved emotional issue to be wasting her time with teenage boys. Yet, any adult man thinking of a relationship with this woman is looking for trouble. What a waste of a young life. Our popular culture (Ariana Grande et al) encourages this way of living. Why on Earth would anyone want to trade a stable married life (with all the safe sex one can handle) for this???
