Yes, I took Trump’s remark as snark, making Comey hope the FBI was no longer surveilling the place and had not failed to remove equipment.
Some of Trump’s phone calls to Austrailia and elsewhere had been recorded, transcripted and leaker to the media.
Some of Comey’s exchanges were by phone as well. Trump jingles his chain and Comey woke up sweating in the night, sent his “memo” to his pal professor to run leak to the media.
If not Comey, then Jeh Johnson or Hillary or Harry Reid or... or... somebody from the Deep State, right?
Remember Trump's remarks about pure gold in the walls, and replacing the chandeliers.
That *could* be taken as a hint that "hey, whoever you are, I caught your recording equipment...and now have the raw data going back xyz months, too."
All of them.
They don’t realize that they can’t get rid of him. And the drum beat begins in 2018. They will pay, just not now.
