That happens to me too on occasion. :)
Youtube has a lot of fascinating material. I've gotten to where that I look to see if there are any Youtube videos whenever i'm going to try to do something I haven't done before.
Usually there are.
Who needs college, when you have Youtube?
There is much truth in that statement. Much of what people learn in college is unnecessary after they leave college. College has become a credentials system monopoly from which a lot of leftest enrich themselves.
The nation needs to get back to practical knowledge and stop empowering these people who sell degrees at exorbitant prices.
Darth Vader Helmet, mask, and shoulder armor went for $96,000 including etc.
Darth Vader's original chest control panel from Star Wars went for $33,000. . .
The gold plated Cherubim Angels from atop the Ark of the Covenant in Raiders of the Lost Ark did not sell.
Luke Skywalker's lightsaber went for a mere $480,000 including. . . etc.
C3PO's left foot did not sell.
The axe used by Jack Nicholson in "The Shining" went for $15,360. . .
Arnold Schwarzenegger's Conan the Barbarian's "Atlantean Hero" Sword went for $ 192,000 . . .
Darryl Hannah's Mermaid tail did not sell.
Jack Dawson's pants, vest, and shirt from "Titanic" went for a ridiculous $204,800!
Lots of goodies, like the costumes from Shawshank Redemption, and Ron Burgundy's suits.
I found it interesting that Morgan Freeman's "Red's" prison uniform went for six figures, while star Tim Robbins' "Andy's" uniform only brought a few thousand. Except for the number stencil, they are essentially identical.
People must like "Red" more than "Andy".
BTW, I wish I had known about the auction.
The Ron Burgundy suits went for 3K.
Now that would be fun to own. (And wear!)
But I think Will Ferrell is much taller, and thinner than I am.
Gene Siskel bought the white Saturday Night Fever suit worn by John Travolta, and would wear it to parties as a gag.
