Cape Cod (particularly the very tip -- Wellfleet, Truro and Provincetown) is my favorite vacation place, and has been since the late 1970s. I have so many memories there, and I want to have my ashes scattered there when my time comes.
I plan to go there again after Labor Day. My conservative daughter (who voted for the first time in November and voted for Trump), has been going there since she was 3 years old. She loves it, and I'm sure will continue to go there throughout her life now that she is an adult.
It's not only leftists who go there. So I find this increase in shark activiey to be very disturbing. I don't think your observation is at all funny.
