Big, effects-laden blockbusters? OK, makes sense to want to see it on the big screen. But comedies, and bad ones at that? Why shell out the money?
Yeah exactly. It’s makes no sense to spend so much money to see a small scale movie on the big screen when you can rent it for a couple of dollars.
Good points. Go to the theater only when the big screen and sound system really add to the experience. There are web sites now that give evaluations of the 3D experience as well so you don’t get stuck with the more expensive tickets unless they are worth it.
