Burying firearms is the worst way to store them. Even with them stored in best conditions.

Well greased bagged in side a outer box they can turned into rusted junk.

Above ground storage is more advisable.

Just to much moisture below ground found out the hard way.

Much better to defeat the anti’ s before hand.

1. I didn't just say greased and buried. I said greased, sealed in an air-tight plastic bag, covered in desiccant, and sealed in a second bag, and then put in a box.
2. The point of below ground storage is to hide it from the authorities.
