Search the Apple web for battery issues.....Certain models have dud batteries that Apple will replace.... Vut the hassle etc is really testy. Easier to fire it up. If it is dead, find some of the local fix-it shops in town who can fix this as you wait, with less hassle
Amazon or ebay replacement battery about 15.00 instructions on the net on installation
