Way back when, I started out not liking the Eagles much. They just didn’t seem hip enough for me and my avant-garde friends.
Then “One of These Nights” came out, and I became a convert. That song sounds just as good today as it did back in ‘75 or whenever.
Glenn’s passing was somewhat overshadowed by Bowie’s, but for me, I like Glenn’s music much more.
For anyone who subscribes to Netflix, there is an outstanding documentary called “History of the Eagles” which is over 3 hours long.
As long as it was, it was a thrill to listen to them that long. Needless to say, lots of commentary by Frey, Henley and others. Strong recommend if you like any Eagles tunes.
