Matt Jones of Castle Face Records, announced via Facebook today that the label he co-founded with John Dwyer of Thee Oh Sees is discontinuing its relationship with the loosely Austin-based band Dream Machine following comments made by the bands core duo Matthew and Doris Melton in an interview with the Brooklyn-based website Still in Rock.
Last month, the California-based label released the bands debut album The Illusion. On Thursday, label reps said they will no longer be working with the band after reading about some ugly opinions the band members expressed about immigration, feminism and sexual assault.

Saw this as well.
Very smart folks, but they live in ultra-lib Austin.
Austin is overrun by hippies and homeless these days. The California leftist morons fleeing the hell they’ve created out there are coming to Austin and bringing their socialism with them like a plague.
Virtue signaling and leftist bigotry. For claiming to be “open minded” leftists are consistently the most hateful intolerant bunch of humorless p*ssies I know.
Was, I just watched the Gutfield interview with them. Smart, beautiful and talented. Apparently to the left there are refugees they don’t like.
Well looking at the pic Bratch posted I can definately agree the girl is “Not Guilty”. However the guys kind of look like something from the 70’s.
Here’s link to one of their music vids:

I just watched a video that looked like it was filmed for 1973 late night music TV. I thought it was good, at least it had a guitar solo.
“She went on to say, The safe space mentality has made them weak. They dont even know how to play their instruments! Theyll make songs about being sexually assaulted or about how empowering abortions are or some (expletive) and its (expletive) retarded, theyre embarrassing themselves. If men did that they would be crucified! You see the longing for a gender supremacy under the guise of equal rights. What happened to the incredible female singers from back in the day with real talent, singing about finding true love and wanting to be a good woman?
Man I hope this isn’t some sort of bullcrap hipster publicity stuff. She sounds awesome.
Freegards
“Liberals” are anything but, and their camera-shy storm troopers “antifa” are fascist brown shirts.
All of this smoke was not confusing for the voters in 30 states last fall. The democrats are running out of options.
So THIS (telling the truth) is considered shocking?
Best move the pathetic label could have made for the “offensive” rock band.
I found Dream Machine’s “The Illusion” album on Amazon. It has overwhelmingly positive reviews, many by people who’d just heard of the band when they appeared on Gutfield’s show. I listened to some of the sample songs; not necessarily my style, but I will probably buy the album, anyway, to be supportive, as some of the reviewers had done. (I bought every Joy Villa song I could get my hands on after she wore her Trump dress to the Emmys a few months ago, lol.) Some of the reviewers of Dream Machine’s album mentioned that they’d bought it from a website called Bandcamp.com, rather than from Amazon, so that their former record label wouldn’t profit from the sale, just FYI. I have no idea how that works, but I did see for myself that the album is indeed available at bandcamp.com.
Thanks for the heads-up about this intelligent, truth-speaking band!
Not bad at all!
Just bought the song on iTunes. I’ll shop the rest of their songs later.
“However the guys kind of look like something from the 70s.”
Exactly what I thought. How many album covers looked like that?
The Left are now the Witchfinder Generals who demand ridiculous tests to prove ones’ innocence.
Hurt some snowflakes' feelings?
As for the band, I really find their 70’s vibe to be....groovy.
I read the article...can’t figure out what they said that was so bad...will have to buy their music
