It appears that way on a tiny engraving, but if you look closely there’s an emblem at the mid-right.

If you tear a dollar bill in half and place 1/2 on the other, tear it in half again, Place 1/2 on the other and do that a total of 32 times it would reach to the moon.

All 50 states are listed across the top of the Lincoln Memorial on the back of the $5 bill.

Ridiculous. Easily checked. And there weren't 50 states when the Lincoln Memorial was built. And only one side of the memorial is visible on the $5 bill.

I don’t know offhand how many feet it is across the Atlantic, or how many gallons of diesel the QE2 holds, but my brain is telling me, “No! No! No!”

“Polar bears can eat up to 86 penguins in a single sitting.”

You probably could too after swimming all the way to the Antarctic just to get dinner!

I ‘went’ to Antarctica a few weeks ago - didn’t see penguins, much less polar bears; but Condition One at McMurdo was horrendous!

The next week I went to Paris; and last week to Japan.

(YouTube is a wonderful way to see the world, for an inveterate homebody - Husband asks me every Saturday, “Where are you going to go today?” ;-)

I think it associates the movement with food, I just started doing this little wave thing with my fingers whenever I went in to feed it and it responds now. Dumb luck I guess, but it wasn’t something I intended to do, it just happened.
