Probably a legal move but wrong in the popular view.
Just coming into the new administration, Sessions should have gone to work on the Clinton, IRS, etc., investigations and let the Rooskie story wither...
Oh, I believe it was the wrong decision to recuse himself. It might have been legally right, but it was politically wrong. Keep in mind, had he not done so, we would be inundated with stories about what is he hiding, is he protecting Trump... But the idea here that he is persona non grata, maybe a little more acceptable than “Lyin’ Ted” is juvenile and beneath any intelligence level this site wants to represent. He is a good, very smart, very conservative man, and we are better for having him on our side.
And don’t overlook the fact, the only Republicans Trump has attacked are conservative. He was praising McCain while McCain was swearing off the Republican’s healthcare repeal. Where are his tweets about those two idiots in the Senate that made Pence break a tie. I also heard Republicans refused to support a bill tonight, but I expect Trump’s response will be to slam Sessions in a tweet tomorrow.
