According to the Manchester Evening News, eyewitnesses say there are emergency vehicles lining the pavement outside of the hotel. One witness stated seeing a woman in blood.

at least 2 ambulances and 15 police cars, incident is "ongoing"..... here's a tweet:
Stood outside the Ibis hotel in Salford Quays. Told by officers the incident is 'ongoing' - they wouldn't disclose more than that.

I wonder if any of the moped brigade that has been throwing acid in people’s faces in London are graduates of the Iranian Basij moral police (motorcycle group) that was throwing acid in women’s faces back in 2014. In Iran, the motorcyclist thought the women were improperly dressed. When Iranians protested, the authorities called it a political gathering.
