I was watching Fox News Channel yesterday and they were showing a bunch of people that had been rescued by boat, most of whom were African American. Griff Jenkins found a woman on crutches and he walked with her making like he was helping her. As he walked with her, he asked her questions. He asked her if there were anymore people back where she came from that needing rescuing and she said probably a thousand. Jenkins blurted out something about the 9th ward and studio anchor told Jenkins to get someone else to help the woman. Looks like that leaves only Hannity and Carlson that I can Watch on Fox that is rapidly going left.
The drag queen Sheppie Smith isn’t going to appreciate Griff trying to muscle in on his territory.
They interviewed a fat, bearded white guy yesterday who yelled that no one told him about the storm. The Fox interviewer was really annoyed because they’d been warning people since last Thursday. You truly cannot fix stupid.
Another one this morning trying to make news rather than report it......
..... a well known name, can’t remember .....check with me after my coffee
Haven’t watched any “news” since last Friday. It’s been wonderful.
I haven’t watched hardly any coverage either, but what I did see were people being rescued by boats, with the fireman WALKING beside the boats in knee deep water.
Not exactly what I would call a “rescue”.
I did the exact same things when I saw that yesterday.
I forgot! I also saw a reporter risking his life to get us his story while standing in ANKLE deep water in the middle of the street.
I also heard a report that ONE person so far had died.
People are responsible for their decisions based on the best information available.
In a past life I lived in various places that were subject to hurricanes. In 99 Floyd was headed our direction it was upgraded to a Cat IV around the time of the late news to arrive the next day. We got out of there.
The luxury coach business must thrive on Hurricanes. All the networks need them for their on air reporters that never seem to get wet or dirty when reporting from where everyone else is suffering.
they tried so hard . .
It’s not a real hurricane until Shep Smith is sitting there in Fox with his hair on fire, yelling on TV that “nobody knows where all the water is coming from!”
The individual YouTube videos are much better, the MSM has terrible coverage, same clips over and over, just tear jerk stuff, elderly in water etc.
Hard core damage and factual reports you have dig around a bit on YouTube.
The media has not changed with the times. They need to totally revamp if they are no longer in the journalism business. They need to have news rooms focused on internet data to cull and present to cover stories. They also need to get out of the liberal political activism business if they ever want to survive.
nobody knows where all the water is coming from!
___
Worst still, where’s all this water going to go? Omigod! Are the oceans going to rise?
Was that the lady with the shower cap on? I had the sound down so I missed the talking part of it.
The lady I was talking about was on crutches. I didn’t notice her head gear.
I’ve seen more video of damage on my local Fox channel.
“I was watching Fox News Channel yesterday....”...
WHAT? I can’t believe you would actually admitted to that? (sarc) I added FOX News to my lengthy “no go” list some time ago. M. Kelly, S, Smith were the tipping points which have driven me away from watching ANY TV news programs.
