I am telling you. People who abuse children and young teen girls are all around us. In positions of authority, in positions which give them a moral sheen of respectability. Those guys with the moral authority and great people skills, the ones you’d think NEVER, are the most successful at raping kids and teens. The guy who got me molested younger and younger, including preschoolers, and when he got caught after decades, he got a wrist slap and his name on the list, is all. Prominent beloved school principal.
More get away with it than don’t.
Should be a capital offense. These perverts can’t be cured. No little girl will EVER be safe around this guy.

The principal who molested me had, has, a wife who stood by him through his protracted court battle. She heard all the evidence, she saw that they found a LIFE SIZED TODDLER CHILD DOLL in his closet with a laptop filled with kiddie porn, but she BELIEVES HIM or is a Mrs. Sandusky and approves, I guess.....

Silly me. When I read “who sexually abused daughter”, I fell for it. I assumed he was (1) convicted of sexual abuse, and (2) the victim was his own daughter. The headline is exceptionally lurid as written, which is how I interpreted it, but as you say it is deceptive. I wish journalists would simply be honest.
It’s the Daily Mail! Headlines longer than the Iliad and just short of War And Peace! Unfailingly too long for the FR title character limit. (Never mind the generally sloppy reporting.)
In this case, an unfortunate attempt at truncating to make the headline fit, distorting the facts at the same time. (Of course that can be fixed in the top post by “Full title:...”)

Anyone with an ounce of morality knows how bad rape is and when I was younger I would have kicked the living crap out of anyone I caught raping someone. Now, I will just put a bullet in their stinking head, no matter what happens to me.
I hate to believe that; but I do believe you. It does seem to be far more common and when they are caught it is someone in a job that used to be one of respect.
I guess I was raised very sheltered, I have no idea if this has been happening all along or has increased. I just don’t know what to think.

I am too tired tonight to do the HTML thing and link the page but the web site MilitaryCorruption.com has this at the top of their page. There is way more to the story and a lot of blank spaces in the investigation that have not been published by others in the press.
MilitaryCorruption.com is a pretty good watchdog and they cut nobody slack but they do try to be fair and this case may not be as cut and dried as it seems. Most of the press doesn’t do any research and like to push agendas.

Its called living in denial. Just like spouses of alcoholics, criminals, etc.
Codependence and the spouse’s own psychological makeup plays into it also.
