Hahaha, yep I remember the scene. He decided it was suicide to defend the bank full of gold. Kelley gave him his cut to cut out and he literally lite up like a lamp when he saw those gold bars. Great movie. Telly Savalis, “Oddball” Donald Sutherland........Need to see that again.

A classic movie. The late, great Don "Crapgame" Rickles was hilarious. It was a tremendous cast. Carol O'Connor was a scream as the general.

Hell yes, played the straight guy. His guys were bogged down everywhere, desperate for one of his Companies to break out. He was getting reports of Kelly kicking ass and taking names not knowing that Kelly had ulterior motives for whacking the Germans.
