What is the movie about?
I watched the trailer on YouTube after reading about the film. It just looked stupid. Breathtakingly stupid. And no amount of special blood-bath effects can make me give a rat’s rear about a film. Violence is no more suspense than sex is love.
I’d rather go to the local city dump and contemplate the meaning of life than give money to these buttheads and their pretentious drivel. But maybe that is why my last visit to a movie theater was about 15 years ago (The Return of the King).
Even the rare good movie just seems better watched a few months later, in my home, on my 32” TV. Guess I’m at an age where I like to hit “pause”, go take a pee, get another cup of coffee, and hit “play”...
Many of the duds in the US manage to recoup some of their losses outside the US.
Many of the duds go straight to Netflix and Amazon Prime.
Her performance as Mystique went straight downhill.
That’s just it. Now Hollywood makes movies more for foreign markets than US markets.
Her best option now is social media porn.
I’ve been told by people who claim to know “the business of Hollywood” that is where the “real money” is made.
I have no idea if its true. It does explain why there is nothing worth seeing.

According to a report, white filmgoers accounted for only 50% of movie ticket sales in the US and Canada last year. I have a feeling it will be lower this year. Comic book and horror films (which appeal mostly to young men under 25) are what is keeping the domestic box office going this year.
Politics for the left is revealed religion. It is greater than money. Money is its grease. Now they are trapped. They cannot raise the money to promote their religion. SAD!~

My husband put on the hunger games a few weeks ago and it bored me to sleep. The acting was terrible.
I can’t ever see watching this one.
