I agree with you. People are trying to make dogs and cats on equal footing as people, it’s weird.

Exactly!!!!!

HOWEVER, isn’t that one of the reasons he had the dog so as to NOT go up alongside someones head that gets in his ‘space’?

Looks like the dog ‘worked’.

Of course One can see the dog in certain places will eventually be over used.

It will fall in the same category as someone who has been drawing unemployment for a long time being able to get SSI because he/she/it is under stress & Duress because they have been drawing unemployment for so long.

Shakespeare had the right idea when it came to lawyers.

EXCEPT for mine, of course!!!!

Maybe she was jealous that he was with a better looking dog?

This lady was rude and over the top but I'm equally getting tired of all this "emotional support animal" nonsense as well.

I'm with you.
At least have saddlebags on the animal, Charmin Xtra Soft in one side, Kleenez on the other.

Some restaurants in America are considering it. Yet they are banning children.

The dogs are more behaved than children.

Take a look at this woman, need I say more?

Was at an Outback restaraunt last year and our server had been deployed to Iraq. He said he has had customers tell him they DO NOT support our military. He said he just walks away never serves them.

The guy looked fine but I cringed when Mrs Subterfuge remarked that he had “returned from the war unscathed.” Then he bent over and tapped his prosthetic with his clipboard. Oops!

I don’t see anyone here saying that dogs and people are equal, lol. But Americans love service men and their dogs and loathe ugly witches who don’t.

tired of all this "emotional support animal" nonsense as well.
Our local WalMart and Fred Meyer grocery stores have caved to these people - they allow any animal in if the owner calls it a service dog, no proof of any training required. These old gals bring their rat dog to leak it's butt juice in the shopping cart right where I put my produce - if that's not enough, one guy in our hick town has a "therapy" 4 foot boa constrictor he takes shopping with him, wrapped around his neck.
Another time at WM I watched a soaking wet mastiff lick every vitamin bottle it could reach, right next to the pharmacy - I complained and received a shrug from an employee. That being said, the woman in the video is a gigantic ass.

I do think that the “service animal” theme has been carried too far. But if you think about the fact that under the 0bama regime, many, many thousands of people who would not previously have been considered as “disabled” to receive SS benefits were approved.... and many of those people want an excuse to take their dogs with them everywhere. There seems to have been a serious reduction in the standards for both being disabled and for “needing” a service dog of some type. We flew last week, could not believe the numbers of so-called “service dogs” in the airports. Lots of these were little terrier or poodle types, whose owners were stereotypical “little old ladies”.

I’ll admit that it bothers me when people bring their animals into stores and restaurants. I was in one restaurant when some lady had a little rat on a leash claiming it was a registered service dog. Just what service it performed wasn’t mentioned. She walked table to table showing off the little cur.

I wanted to eat in peace, not pet her stupid dog.

there is a very low bar to define what a service animal is. One can purchase dog vests on Amazon to give the veneer of official training.

That said, an official, trained, registered and properly identified service animal can be a lifesaver for many people and I support and champion that.
