Well, we all know how the Muslims react to dogs...

My first thought was that it was a muslim. However, her attire was not "halal", so I doubt it. I can't imagine what would set someone off like that unless the dog had bitten her.

I watch a show on Animal Planet called "Rescue Dog to Super Dog" that tells stories about rescue dogs that are matched with someone with a handicap; and how the dog is then trained to help the handicapped person with something they cannot do. Often the people are physically handicapped and the dog helps them do a physical task. Once I saw one about a vet with PTSD. All the guy did was lay around feeling depressed. His service dog was trained to notice when he was feeling depressed and to run and bring him his leash so they could go for a walk together. The vet was really a much more vibrant and happy guy after weeks of working with the dog. The service dogs may be providing support in ways we cannot see when we see a person and his/her dog in public.

What sets someone like her off is the entitlement mentality pervasive in this country now. Gone are values like self sacrifice and humility. They've been replaced with selfishness and pride fueled by a government and yes even industry that says "you are entitled to whatever your heart desires, even if it's someone else's property".

Period. That's it right there. That mentality is created by the welfare state and it's also created by a "culture" that values material possession and personal comfort over all else including the consideration of your fellow citizen. It's what we get now that we've jettisoned Jesus from the center of our lives.

We are now reaping what we've sown. It has nothing to do with Islam. It has everything to do with the god of consumerism fueled by corporate America and the welfare state, which has replaced Jesus as Lord.
