Our players come from many different backgrounds and are united by what it means to play for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Is it too much to expect them to be united by what it means to be Americans? No matter what you think is wrong with America, why would you ever turn your back on its flag? Shouldn't you claim it for yourself with pride and tell those you disagree with to live up to its standards?

They don’t get it, and the coaches and owners don’t either. They’re overpaid entertainers whose job is to make us feel good about the experience they provide. It’s not about them and their unity or how they feel about each other or about educating us about their warped views or whatever.

American players should stand with hand over heart. Non-American citizens should stand in respect but not with hand over heart. Simple respect.
