Packers are asking fans to “link arms in solidarity”.

I think the statement Rodgers made was CHALLENGE the fans to lock arms

Brilliant

And its still not going over real well in the talk radio verse here in Milwaukee ahead of the game tonight.

The irony of ironies is now the Packers have asked for additional on field security ahead of the game tonight.

I guess the police are are cool when they’re protecting the players.

This is going to be a complete sh!t tonight and the NFL has no one to blame but themselves.

I've known for a long time that most pro football players were arrogant, ignorant, racist, thugs. I love me some football so I blocked that thought out and just payed attention to the helmets and uniforms. Football is good like that. With the helmets you don't have to look at the expressions and dripping malice on the faces of the players, unlike the NBA.I gave up on the NBA many years ago for that reason, but stuck with football. This latest fiasco was a bridge too far.

I really don't see the players backing down, and if they do it will be a sham. The owners, being weak men for the most part, are in too deep now to crack down. If Jerry Jones can cave, any of them can. And they pretty much all did.

I don't believe there will be any sincere apologies. Maybe a few high profile guys like Ben Rothlisberger and maybe Drew Brees and Tom Brady. They will be put out front to represent all of the players. But they are not the problem.

I hope the majority follow your suggestion but I'm not betting on it. More likely it will die down quietly and they will act like they never did anything wrong and then wonder why we made such a hullabaloo.

Sports was better when the athletes had to get jobs in the off-season.

She has passion for the game as she was CFB playoff committee and has political skills that NFL need right now From a PR standpoint for NFL, probably not a bad idea to have women in that position with its reputation with domestic violence.

I hope people are not so addicted to the NFL that they will continue watching the BLM-ANTIFA-NFL

Starbucks leader wasn’t selected

It’s run by Schultz, one of its founders

It occurred to me, that back in the 70s, most of the head coaches at that time had served in the military and fought in WWII, guys like Tom Landry, for example.

Agree with the sentiment but they will not listen until is really hurts their pocketbooks. Gonna do my own boycott by refusing to tune to any games and the ore who do so, the louder the message will be.

I just got a great idea. I know how these NFL Black racists can win all the American people onto their view of the world. Ex-POTUS, Kenyan Muslim, Barack Hussein Obama, proud son of Sub Sahara, Muslim, Slave & Sex Traffic traders selling African slaves and slave women since the Middle Ages, up to this very day, has opened his foul mouth on his NFL buddies.

I am saying Obama should proudly and gladly come forth and bad mouth all of America, which he truly hates, and take over as the real leader of his hate America band of NFL,NBA, MLB racist worshipers. Right on, Barak!!!

Only kidding, of course, for Obama should be nobody’s hero except for Cuba, Venezuela, North Korea, Iran and the players of the NFL, NBA & MLB!!! Worst POTUS, ever!!!

yap. Think of all the great baseball players that went to war. Didn't Jim Thorpe go? Hell, even Elvis went. That Arizona Cardinal guy that went to Afghanistan and died, whose name escapes me.

These guys now just suck off the tit of the prosperity better men provided them, and spit in the face of their memories. It's infuriating.

The Green Bay Packers are owned by STOCKHOLDERS in the Wisconsin & Midwest area. NOT just one owner or family.

I don’t know what the other team status is.

Nah.....we need Condy Rice...like today, right now. Roger Goodell should be thrown out on the street with no clothes on...never to be heard from again!!! Go Condy, the American people and overwhelming number of NFL fans want you to be the Commish, immediately!!!

As for Barack Hussein Obama, forget him, for he is “SATAN’s” main man on God’s Earth, just like the entire misfit group of NFL Players, Owners and Commissioner!!!

As I read the comments on this post and many others this morning, I want to thank the massive numbers of Freepers and others who have commented on my post. But......this post is just simply one of thousands of Americans posting their hate and disdain for the NFL, the NBA and MLB, and their massive strong support of POTUS, Donald J. Trump.

Trump with three words (SOBs) has literally destroyed the NFL, Black Racist rants, raves and actions on the field of football sports, where they insulted their flag, national anthem, their military, the American people and, the American nation itself.

Now...to be honest folks, remember we have millions of loyal dedicated, honorable, decent, patriotic, AFRICAN-AMERICANS who detest everything these “OBAMA” moron buffoons are doing with every fiber of energy in their patriotic bodies....so let us stand united, with all our American brothers and sisters regardless of race, ethnics, religion, gender, culture, etc. We are truly a nation, that at the end of the day, is a true “Melting Pot” of diverse, outstanding human beings. These twisted “OBAMA/CLINTON”, NFL, NBA, MLB low life, buffoons add up to nothing...”ZERO”!!!

If they had any brains whatsoever, they would walk on the field tonight like real men, instead of hiding in their locker rooms like “Little Girlie, Obama Pajama Boys” and with their right hand covering their hearts...they should stand upright, and sing along with the National Anthem honoring our great nation and those Americans that gave their lives and blood so that America lived free!!! God bless America & POTUS, Donald J. Trump!!! MAGA!!!

“It’s run by Schultz, one of its founders”

I have seen several entrepreneurs develop and then destroy a business. Normally, this has to due to risk taking behavior. They are so successful because they take risks. But, they are unable to stop taking risks and, like a binge gambler, don’t stop gambling once they’ve made it big.

I won’t buy any Sawbuck’s products, even when they are on sale at Costco. I don’t think any boycott will do significant damage to Starbucks. I just don’t like their company philosophy so I won’t support it.

She has passion for the game as she was CFB playoff committee and has political skills that NFL need right now.

Passion doesn't equate to knowledge and experience. Rice has a history of race consciousness and identity. It is the prism on how she views the world. It is why she essentially endorsed Obama. Provide some examples of her vaunted political skills? She was another Bush token appointment similar to Colin Powell.

From a PR standpoint for NFL, probably not a bad idea to have women in that position with its reputation with domestic violence.

Spoken like a true liberal. I am sure this never married black woman can check all the boxes that the liberals consider important, but the real concern should be results, not appearances.
