dont think it is shame, really...

they hide their crimes because they dont want to go to prison. period

shame does not factor in...they cannot and do not feel “shame”, like normal people do...

I think Nietzsche would have called it shame.

The point here is that shame in the broadest category is more than just the feeling a person has inside. It has to do with whether something can be made public, or whether by its very nature it must remain hidden. The Clintons don’t have a conscience, that is true. But neither do they have the sort of ultimate power they think they have.

If they did, they wouldn’t have to hide their sins.

And that's why they stay married, even though it is a sham of a sham; so they can't be compelled to testify against each other.
