The first two episodes were okay, but overloaded with Klingons. Too much. I would not say they laid a good base for the seies/story. They were sort of disjointed.
Episode 3 was really good, makes me want to see more. Lots of layers to peel back.
IF they bring in obvious gay crap I will be done with it. The ship and captain with the Chinese names are not in episode 3.
