This just strike me as kind of funny:
“Sir Edward Heath would have been questioned over sex abuse claims if he was alive when they came to light”
To me it’s like announcing, “I would have bought a yacht if I won the lottery last week”.
I think it’s like saying, there would be enough evidence to get a warrant, if he were alive, but not enough evidence to go to trial.
