Plowing is easier when you dig a few holes around the stump, drop in some corn and then let your pigs loose in the field.
Dig a hole under the stump, as much as is practical. Fill 3/4 full of manure, add gasoline and mix with pitchfork. Leave a long trail of fuel back to the pit (have a truck for shelter). Light the fuel/fuse line and duck, stump will vacate its location.
