Isn’t this when the safety on the AR-15 should be engaged before slinging it over the shoulder?!?

It’s possible that the safety switch snagged on some of his clothing or gear. I’ve seen that happen before. It doesn’t excuse laying his booger hook on the fun switch on the draw, but I have seen safeties get snicked off on webbing, belts, etc. I had a galil style safety on my Arsenal AK and it moved much easier than I liked
