The whole judicial system isn’t trying to keep the public safe. Its raping the public for every cent that it can get via ridiculous laws.

Heard about those too. I don’t have too much problem with those DUIs as they can cause cars to have accidents, particularly if swerving in traffic lanes (although I wish they’d prosecute anyone riding a bicycle in traffic lanes).
What bothers me much more is the term “Operational Control” of vehicle, where simply having the keys to your car, in YOUR DRIVEWAY, can get you a DUI (if you’re intoxicated, of course). That needs to end. If you’re not driving, and it cannot be shown that you were driving while drunk, then you shouldn’t be arrested.
