You can wear out your organs by exercising too much. The body is a self-healing machine that wears down with age. If you wear it down beyond its capacity to regenerate dou to overexertion you die.
INTERESTING. I’m a very old girl, go to the gym almost daily, and can now do a faster mile on the treadmill than I could years ago. Eat like a saint. Cholesterol down 40 points in last year. BUT bp is going up and up. Plus my feet hurt for first time in my life...probably from running. Perhaps I should slow down. Do you have a source for your comment? Thx
You may believe that,
In my case I was fit enough to get at truck drivers license at age 70
my last job was delivering propane which is more physical than sitting down driving.
When I quit 2 and a half years later I started weight lifting.
In another 2 and a half years my average bone density went up by 4%
I'll take that regeneration thank you very much.
The only problem I had was breaking the clutch linkage twice on my 78 Ford F100 (no power steering, brakes and manual transmission),,,I guess because my leg press is 370 pounds,
I’ve always believed that myself.
