They separate SNAP, housing vouchers, Medicaid out because the poor are often very talented at squandering money.
If they don’t suffer the consequences of poor decisions, they don’t learn those decisions are - and lead to - poor.
Some people just refuse to give up bad behavior. Why fund it?
