College football schedule, Week 10: What to watch on Saturday, TV kickoff times

The College Football Playoff Rankings couldn't have come at a better time. You could almost swear that everything was planned to work this way with the rankings come out, and a few days later we have a Saturday that's stuffed to the gills with massive matchups. Matchups between ranked teams, and games with significant playoff implications. It's the kind of Saturday we dream of having every week.

The game of the week is Beblam at Stillwater. It is a de facto elimination game between two of the best gun slingers in college football. The other 3:30 pm time window game is Clemson visiting Raleigh. Clemson with a healthy QB appears to be back on track again. LSU pays a visit to 'Bama. The only way LSU has a chance is if 'Bamas water gets spiked with rat poison. We will find out if the U is for real or a fraud as the Hokies pay a visit.

I expect our little Kiddie Koach, who is an inexperienced kid, will allow Vandy to whip WKU’s a$$ this weekend.

Looking forward to Bedlam and hoping to see my OKState Cowboys win a well-played game over the Sooners. I have season tickets but a bout of cellulitis in my right calf will keep me home. My son and some of his friends will enjoy being there. I’ll have to be happy with my recliner elevating my leg per doctor’s orders while watching the game on TV.

We only watch SEC games, but, other than Sandusky State and Mizzou, I now look kindly on teams from states Trump won like Ohio. I don’t necessarily want Ohio State to win, just no longer hope they lose.

I’ve rooted for any OK team since learning Obama didn’t win a single OK county either time. Kudos, y’all.

Those are all students. I sit in a more sedate area on the opposite side of the stadium from the “Paddle People.” They do bring a great ambiance for the opposing team.

Things like the “Paddle People” is why I luv college football. Every fan base and stadium has their unique quirk.
