At the risk of being flamed, as a Millennial, I only ask who taught them that socialism was great.

Parents, teachers, professors, oddball family members, Jimmy Kimmel, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Hollweird, Democrats, RINOs, textbooks, and on and on.

At times I have been disgusted with Millennials and others pleasantly surprised. Being the age between baby Boomers and Millennials I can say both groups have had major issues and impact American society greatly.

Who taught them was probably the parents (or lack thereof).

One cannot easily get past the parental influence. I hope that’s true for my son. It was true for me despite “society” influencing on the liberal side which indeed I dabbled with.

There are PLENTY hippie-type parents out there who basically hate America and love communism, and their influence on society since has been inestimable.

I wish I had my old American History book from the 60's (though the book was pretty old by that time). I remember it had a little sidebar explaining the differences between communist and free societies. Back then, they were unequivocal about denouncing communism as a form of slavery. The little commie guy in the cartoon-like illustrations even looked a little like Stalin. Nowadays, they teach that it is probably the best form of government.
