Last year a stink bug flew into my soup. Didn’t see it and chewed. Couldn’t figure out the crunch until I swallowed.
That was not very smart.
Stinkbugs are really weird, so ponderous and slow, almost mechanical. I guess that epic odor when they’re crushed has made them pretty nonchalant to the point of stupid about potential predators.
