The decision by Rotten Tomatoes to delay the announcement of Justice Leagues Tomatometer score presumably to hype its See It/Skip It show, but also, were told, to add context and conversation was undercut on Wednesday by a leak from a movie social app. Without a doubt, 48 percent wasnt the figure Warner Bros. executives were hoping for. However, with the official reveal overnight, we learned the official score is actually a little lower.

Bit deceiving. The only reviews on Rotten Tomatoes are audience reviews. No aggregation of film critics available.
It looks terrible, DC just can’t seem to understand... respect the source material...
Every movie they try to take well established characters and try to make them something they aren’t.... I’m sure it will make money, but it they plan on a long running franchise by the way they are handling the characters don’t bet on it
Will it make money? All they have to do is look at the Marvel movies. Imagine the hundreds of millions involved and they keep buying lousy directors and scripts. Wonder Woman is the lone exception.
FWIW, The Emoji Movie got 0% on Rotten Tomatoes (eventually rose to 5 or 9%).
The audience reviews are bigger than the critics reviews. If the audience doesn’t like a movie, then the ticket sales suffer. Audience doesn’t neccessarily line up with critics, but they are who you sell the tickets too, they are the source of money for theaters and for the filmmakers.
Yes, the Marvel movies, the character gets a movie to his or herself, then gets diluted into the bigger universe shortly afterwards. I am pretty much getting tired of the shared universe in movies, I do miss the Raimi Spider-Man movies, or the Batman movies by Nolan at this point.
Warners, DC’s parent company makes the movies. They are a director centric studio. Marvel created their own production company that handles all of their properties except X-Men, Fantastic Four and Spider-man.
DC has little to no input on how the movies are made.
On an aside, DC properties are killing it on the small screen with Supergirl, Arrow, The Flash, Legends of Tomorrow, Gotham, Lucifer, I Zombie, and Preacher all ongoing. Upcoming series include Black Lightning, Krypton and Titans. Also current animated series are Young Justice, Justice League Action and Teen Titans Go!
It is a good time for comics fans.
Is that the latest Moore accuser?

She could accuse me all day long, just as long as I get to be “guilty”.
Might this be the end of Wonder Woman?
Yep, might be a bad sign.
I NEVER listen to “critics” as most are usually narcissistic word-salad chefs who end making the reviews some sort of”I-me-my”, virtue-signaling waste of time.
I refuse to see Butt Man....Ever!
“The only reviews on Rotten Tomatoes are audience reviews.”
who seemed to love it. but after reading some of the reviews, i’m highly suspicious that paid spammers posted most of those reviews. they all look alike (”Amazing Movie”) and make generic comments like they didn’t actually see the movie, and there are WAY too many posted for a movie that doesn’t open in the U.S. until tomorrow!
Looks like studios are resorting to paid trolls to post fake reviews to prop up their failing empires.
My kids pay attention to rotten tomatoes. If a movie gets trashed there, they don’t want to waste their time seeing it.
Critics have always been a little disconnected from audiences. Critics often focus too much on film techniques or plot innovations rather than simply was the movie enjoyable.
