I have a 1911 that Dad picked p in the AF in the early ‘50s - manufactured in 1914 in the Springfield Armory and still a sweet shooting weapon.

Thanks for the news. Worth keeping an eye on, one would suppose, even for those of us who have never been into the 1911...
Of course... for how much? One or two at a bargain price would be nice.
