Donald Trump isn't even the president right now. I know that because a bunch of people here on FreeRepublic swore that the Electoral College would overturn the 2016 election when it convened to vote on December 19th of 2016.
But that didn't really happen, either ... because a bunch of people here on FreeRepublic swore that Jill Stein's "recounts" would put Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin into Hillary Clinton's column after Trump was announced as the winner of those states.

“Lying to the FBI” is a favorite tactic by liberals. Lying may mean he said “and” instead of “too” after being asked the same question 100 times. I want to know what the “CRIME” was!!!!
Oh dear, Flynn cops a plea to 1 count of lying to the Feds. In his statement to the Judge on taking the plea deal he said he was tasked by Trump to “talk to the Ruskies” about joint efforts to bring down ISIS. Guess Trump is Toast now!?-)
Instead, the administration decided to sail a "holier than thou" tack and replace Flynn because that's what the WaPo, NYT, and Alphabets wanted. The administration was naive in thinking that those snakes would be appeased and give the administration a fair shake.
Instead (and anyone could see it coming) the Alphabets smelled blood in the water and tried to go for the jugular. This was also cluster f***ed by the Steven Bannon/Javanka struggle. What bad decisions have been made by this administration, you can be sure the Javanka dynamic duo were involved.
The snares were set during those first two or three weeks of the administration.
