Eventually, people are going to take their eyes off Sessions and cast them toward Trump, wondering who or what can possibly be keeping the president from taking any action on Sessions. Its coming. Trump is going to get some heat, if something doesnt give.
The FBI has been reshaped under Obama and Eric Holder and all the pieces remain in place and in the building, but for the two or three re-shuffled down the hall.
There’s going to be a lot of heat on Sessions now that he’s essentially cost us a Senate Seat.
A lot of people (including me) have already openly wondered why Trump doesn't fire Sessions, or force him to resign.
Call it a gut instinct, but I sense that this is a weak spot for Trump. I've heard that he greatly values loyalty, but in this case, such value is far outweighed by the extreme potential for liability with this employee.
Again, Trump needs to take a lesson from Lincoln, and get rid of this General before he loses the war.
Obama also shaped Alobama.
