I hated “Home Alone”, a movie that most people really liked. You had to be really dumb to think any of that was even slightly plausible.
I never saw it as a “Christmas movie”, either. Just because it’s AT Christmas doesn’t really make it that.
The best most Xmas-y part of it is the heart-strings bit about the grandpa.
And otherwise, a movie I never need to see again.
The creepy neighbor in Home Alone played ghoul Ed Gein (the basis for Psycho) in the 1970s.
