LOL!
How could they tell?
They break down every day!..........
SoCal ping
Last time I was there, in the thunderstorm capital of the world during August, every afternoon there would be a power outage. So ironic to be in the World of Transportation (or whatever ride) to have to abandon your “car” and walk out using leg/foot power.
(Florida Disney, that is)
Can you imagine having to hear “Its a small world after all” for HOURS..I guess its less irritating than watching MSNBC LOL.
Just wait until all the vehicles sold in California are electric, too.
I really want to see how the system fares then.
IMPOSSIBLE.
When my daughter was five, we took her to Disneyworld one Christmas and there was a total downpour.
We sought shelter in the lobby of Cinerella’s palace. Apparently we weren’t the only ones with that idea. In fact, there were so many people that we were packed more tightly than a Tokyo subway at rush hour.
It was no fun for me, but it was even less fun for my poor daughter who was basically eye-level with everyones’ butts. I felt so bad for her.
Ever since, we have referred to Disneyworld as “Butt World.”
In high school, she got to go there on a class trip and so had a better experience.
But still, in our family, it is ever called “Butt World.”
Please ping me with any Southern California related articles. Thank you!
If you want on or off this ping list, please FReepmail me.
I used to pay the carnie ten bucks to stop the Ferris wheel at the top with me and my high school girlfriend.
Best money I ever spent.
Great now I have it in my head LOL
It was probably Goofy’s fault.
The real story is that Disneyland couldn’t pay its power bill due to falling revenue from “The Last Jedi” ;-)
We were stuck in Splash mountain once for about 1/2 hour, right in front of the steam boat near the end of the ride. The music did not stop. I am still quite insane from that.
Then there was the time in “Dinosaur” where we got stuck right at the end as we were being teleported back to current times. Everything just went black. If you can manage to get your brain turned off and believe things are really happening, that will freak you out!
twitter outrage at DJT for destroying the nation’s “infrastructure” in 3 . . . 3 . . . 1 . .
Overcrowded seems a theme at several sites and comments; plus rude employees, some people noting more that a thousand dollars lost. Disney needs to make good. Plus, maybe time to point out that they should be good citizens and fire those Indians they hired to replace good American workers.
LOL! I remember going there years ago with my family & my aunt's family.
During the "Small World" boat ride -- and song -- my uncle had the most pained look on his face. My mother, seated behind him, leaned forward in mock excitement and exclaimed, "Just think, Leo! You can buy the record!"
"Oh wonderful," he answered, sourly.
