Comedian Iliza Shlesinger is getting sued for discrimination after a man was turned away from her “Girls Night In” show at Largo at the Cornet in Los Angeles.
The show was advertised as an event for women and lightheartedly used the phrase “No Boys Allowed” to promote it — but that didn’t stop George St. George from buying a ticket to the event for himself and his friend. According to the suit, the tickets were $30 a piece and when they arrived at the venue to pick up their tickets from will call they said they were allowed to attend the show if they sat in the back. The suit also states when they returned, they were denied entry and offered a refund. The lawsuit also compares them sitting in the back of the theater to “the Montgomery City Lines bus company in Montgomery, Alabama circa 1955.”
Iliza Shlesinger is the first female winner of Last Comic Standing and creator of the ABC digital series Forever 31.

Well... the truth is I think female comedians should be allowed to have female only audiences. And, male, and blacks, and whoever should be allowed to pick their audiences. I’m not saying I would agree with them or in some cases even be offended by the choices, I’m just saying it shouldn’t be illegal. It’s the principle I’m defending....not the individual actions. Whatever... such high-minded thoughts usually annoy liberals....and supposedly they are the smart ones.
It’s not reverse anything, either exclusive audiences are permitted in public venues, or they’re not. No picking and choosing for favored groups. No free-for-alls forced upon disfavored groups. There should be no favored and disfavored groups, it’s unconstitutional. The law is the law, for everybody.

If ‘they’ are able to say NO SMOKING — wherever — an entrepreneur should be able to invest HIS and likeminded INVESTORS money into say a SMOKERS bar or a FLIGHT a day to ??? wherever the market demands.
Watch the SHTF when they declare ONLY smokers or - give preference to smokers and let non smokers take the ‘leftovers’ if they so desire.
‘They’ did this crap with s/s marriages...New York would pass a law allowing it then sue to ‘force’ other states to recognize their right as a state to issue the license.
FINE!!! HOWEVER why do ‘OUR’ legislatures continue to allow those states to jail their constituents for driving through NY with a weapon in the vehicle?
